You Wanted Him/Her Now You Got Him/Her What Now?

Did you know that our carnal relationships require the same character commitment that our spiritual relationships do? Your mate says, spend time with me. God says, abide in me, and seek me. God says give me your whole heart, and yet some of us enter relationships uncertain about how we feel about that person and self. God says I am faithful and just. I know we all want a partner that we can trust and rely on. God says, I will not leave you, nor for sake you. Have you forsaken your relationship for one reason or another? I believe we all want a faithful and loyal partnership in our marriage and committed relationship. I hope you can see the correlation between a relationship with God and others. I want to also press upon you that if you are struggling to give your family, your spouse, or your partner any of these attributes, then it is very likely you're not giving them to God either. I believe this is why our single season is so important. Consider for a moment: I Corinthians 7:32-34. This passage of scripture teaches us that in the single season of our lives we dedicate ourselves to God. It is in your single season that you learn to give or serve faithfully with a whole-heart.
